
When my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease several years ago, I watched his quality of life diminish under a heavy regimen of Western medicines. He was taking pills around the clock- literally waking out of his sleep at night to take them. He lost his appetite and dropped tons of weight. Exhausted by sleep deprivation and unable to eat, my Dad was turning into a shell of his former self. I was determined to find a way to help, if I could.
I began researching natural remedies for Parkinson’s disease and discovered that cannabis has been indicated as a powerful healing agent for symptoms of Parkinson’s and a host of other health conditions from PTSD to postpartum depression. In 2017, I decided to incorporate what I’d learned about the healing properties of cannabis into a lifelong passion for baking and Green Gourmet LA was born. My Dad was one of the first people to try my products. Today, cannabis and hemp-derived CBD is a part of his daily health regimen and he is feeling more like himself again.
My infused products are crafted for patients with medical conditions like my father and curious recreational cannabis consumers as well. We eat in celebration of life’s great moments and also for comfort, when times are tough. Green Gourmet LA was created for all of these times, but above all, to promote living your best life.
